Ferioli Filippo S.p.A. invites you to try out your boards on our FASTENPRESS.
Ferioli Fastenpress is the most highly developed multi-opening press available today, defining a new standard in lamination technology and renovating the standard methods that have already reached the maximum limit of their potential.
In updating its production technique, Ferioli Fastenpress allows an alignment accuracy between layers within 20 microns, just a fraction of the 120 microns required by current standards, resulting in higher yields and less material waste.
Pressing cycle:
The entire heating, curing and cooling cycle takes place continuously within the press. This eliminates the need to move the pieces to a separate cooling area and therefore eliminates material shift during the production cycle.
Thermal cycle:
All steps of the thermal cycle (heating, curing and cooling phase) and pressure cycle can be easily set up through the operator panel. The thermal gradient of the heating curve can be adjusted up to 12° C/min. (53,6° F) and has a heating accuracy of +/- 3° C. The pressure cycle can be regulated from 0.2 to 30 kg/cm2 (PSE 2,8 to 426,7).
Fastenpress also solves the problem of temperature distribution during production cycle granting a very good heat uniformity with less pressure.
The uniformity of thermal cycle assures a perfect repeatability in the successive production cycles.
Layout of a complete automatic line:
Fastenpress can be used as a stand-alone unit or as a part of a complete line, through a robotized control and connected to a multilayer machine.
Lay-up table for the manual preparation of multilayer printed circuits:
Lay-up table for two operators with two ionizing hoods and laser for correct positioning of the trays. Fastenpress automation permits a perfect control of each working phase. A conveyor belt extending over two levels permits to position the trays by means of a robot manipulator and to convey the trays to the operator for demounting.
Loading and unloading system
A robotized arm grants the highest precision during loading and unloading phase.
During thermal cycle the robotized arm prepares up to 30 trays in the rack, ready to be loaded in the press at the end of the previous cycle.
With Fastenpress, the press becomes part of the production cycle.
